Up, Up and Away
This book was a slow burn for me. There were several times when I first started reading it that I wanted to just DNF it and move on. But I'm so glad that I didn't! Atmosphere is the life story of aspiring astronaut Joan Goodwin. It goes into great detail about what the space program looked like in the 1980s. Hence, the reason I almost got a bit bored. It was clear that the author had done a great deal of research, but at times the technical speak made my eyes gloss over. But all of that setup...

Will The Day Arrive?
The one word that kept running through my mind while listening to this book was 'powerless.' It was an eye-opening book regarding the war between Israel and Palestine. But the author goes beyond even that horridness, into much deeper territory, in my opinion. And yet I, as just another left-leaning citizen, can only hear the word 'powerless' continue on repeat in my mind. A Book With Bite
I seriously read this book within one weekend. The hype regarding how hard it is to put down is legit! Baby Teeth is author Zoje Stages' debut novel, and man, is it wild! I'll start with the premise. Suzette is a young 30-something mom to her only daughter, Hannah. And Hannah has some problems (kind of an understatement.)
