This movie was incredible! After my first watch, I had some questions, but I was also sipping tequila at the time, so that could have been it. 😂 After watching it for the second time with my family, the plot was much clearer to me, and the holes I thought were there the first time around were resolved.
So, imagine you are invited by an extremely wealthy, super handsome, and charming celebrity to party on his private island with a bunch of his friends. What would you do? I'm pretty sure I would be first in line to go, or at least I would have been 20 years ago.
That is the gist of the film's plot. A young caterer and her best friend are whisked away to paradise to drink, eat, and generally just have a good time. However, many of the girls in the group begin to experience strange lapses in memory and wake up with suspicious changes. Think dirt under their nails, or suddenly, one of the girls wakes up with some very unflattering bangs.
The fun starts to dwindle as the dots connect, and some guests even go missing. This movie is one you should not miss! Channing Tatum plays an unforgettable character and really shows his ability to act, plus he's not hard to look at for an hour and a half, so there's that. I was not only impressed by the creative storyline but also by the actors' impressive displays of talent. Go check this one out immediately! The movie will provide a trigger warning at the beginning; heed it!
