This book was my first introduction to Peter Swanson and I am now a devoted fan of ALL of his books. I am fairly certain that I have read every single one of them, but THIS was my first one!

The Kind Worth Killing is almost a retelling of the classic Strangers on a Train, but it's still its own story! Lily Kintner and Ted Severson meet on a night flight from London. Sharing drinks and stories, the two begin a dangerous game of truth-telling that leads them both down a twisty and tumultuous path!

I don't want to give too much away, but this is the first time you as a reader will be introduced to the puzzling and enigmatic character of Lily Kintner. She pops back up in a couple of Swanson's follow up books titled The Kind Worth Saving and A Talent for Murder. While you see repeat characters in all of these books, they could still be read as stand-alone novels, which just makes Swanson's talent all the more apparent.

I highly recommend this novel. It will keep you guessing and draw you in. If you're anything like me, you will find yourself cheering for the most unlikely character, and you will not be disappointed with the ending!
